Thames Valley Police are looking for an experienced Motor Workshop Manager to join a team based in St Ives, Cambridge.
The overall purpose of the role is to: Ensure the safe, efficient and cost effective operation of a Chiltern Transport Consortium (CTC) vehicle workshops, in accordance with departmental policy, employing a highly skilled and motivated workshop team to deliver a class leading service commensurate with Police fleet operational demands.
The knowledge or skills required
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 motor vehicle technician or equivalent.
- Proven post training technical experience to service manager level.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft & fleet software.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
This is a temporary role for an initial 6 months, working full-time paying an initial £16.32 per hour PAYE.
