Immediate temporary position available working for a company which has an extensive network of wholesale accounts across the world; managed by showrooms in key locations throughout Europe, as well as has both multi-brand and franchise partnerships with key players from Europe, to the Middle East, Russia, South East Asia and beyond.


Main purpose:

To provide operational, administrative and customer service support to the network of company country offices, agencies and distributors and to wholesale customers worldwide; to work with internal departments to ensure an excellent level of sales support is provided in line with company standards and requirements.

Reporting to: Head of Wholesale Operations.

Key Interfaces: Sales teams, agents, distributors; Planning, Production and Sourcing; Store Development and VM; Finance; Merchandising


Job Description:

• Act as a key contact for sales teams in the London HQ; strive to ensure an optimal working relationship with sales managers to ensure that customer accounts are efficiently managed

• In conjunction with Credit Control, ensure that accounts are correctly validated and set up in the system; continually maintain and update the customer master data to ensure accuracy at all times

• Gain in depth knowledge of the market in terms of customers, their business and their requirements; work closely with sales managers to ensure a full understanding of key accounts, key relationships and account terms and conditions

• Pro-actively drive the seasonal shipping campaign to ensure maximum service to the market in line with customer and company requirements and parameters; work closely with Logistics and Planning teams to monitor inbound deliveries with outbound dispatches; maintain a strong dialogue with sales managers and/or customers throughout the season to anticipate problems and provide solutions to prevent escalation

• Work with Credit Control to manage any credit issues impacting delivery performance

• Respond to queries and address problems in a timely and efficient manner

• Provide support to Head of Wholesale Operations and Wholesale Operations Supervisor as and when required

• Provide cover for other markets on an adhoc basis as required


Key Skills:

• Previous experience in wholesale administration and/ or customer service, ideally in the fashion industry

• Adaptable; able to work under pressure and prioritise as required

• Strong organisational skills and eye for accuracy and detail

• Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to establish and develop working relationships both with internal teams and external accounts

• Positive attitude with an openness to taking on responsibility and learning new skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SAP an advantage

• Fluent in English; working knowledge of other languages an advantage
