REED are actively recruiting temporary but ongoing, weekend and evening support workers for the Rotherham area.

The ideal candidate will need to have:
A degree of empathy and compassion.
A passion to work with challenging behaviour and vulnerable adults.
The ability to keep calm under pressure.
Experience of safeguarding and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:
Implementation of support plans.
Working as part of a team to provide the highest level of care.
Day to day responsibilities including meal preparation, cleaning and laundry.
Liaising with other support workers and families.
Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

To apply, you need at least 6 months of experience within a care and support role.

Due to the nature of the role, we require a full 5 past year work referencing, with at least 2 care and support references within this time frame. We will also need to submit all successful applicants to a DBS check, at a cost of £44 (refunded after completion of 100 hours of work). You will also have to attend a mandatory 2 day training course at the REED Sheffield office.
