My client is an independent firm providing private clients and institutions with a highly personalized financial planning and investment management service. All forms of financial advice, including pension funding, asset and estate protection, tax efficient financial planning as well as an investment service that offers dedicated discretionary fund management.

The role of the Wealth Planning Assistant supports clients and Financial Planners within the IFA. Reports to the Senior Account Manager and the role is based in the company’s London office.

Provide quality administration and analytic support to planners and clients.
Manage own workloads and defer to Senior Account Manager when workloads are high.
Process all Private Client related new business and servicing queries using companies processes and with defined internal and external Service Level Agreements.
Contribute to information required for the reporting of Management Information and KPIs.
Use company systems in line with internal procedures and ensure all processes are being completed in line with company manuals and process documentation.
Participate in meetings, conferences and seminars applicable to role and following appropriate authorization.
Liaise and build relationships with other functions/departments to ensure all aspects of development, change and ongoing activities are clearly communicated and absorbed in the company.
Build relationships with external product providers and act as a main point of contact for clients.
Ensure all meeting follow-up work is completed within company timescales.
Check all new business paperwork prior to submission to ensure it is compliant.
Manage planner diaries and book client new business and review meetings in line with company procedure

11. Strong software skills with good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Financial Planning qualification or working towards (desirable)
Experience of Client Relationship Management software within financial services i.e. IO, AO
