Our client is seeking two experienced Logistics Warehouse Assistants on a temporary contract initially for 8 months but could be extended.
This role is full time Monday – Friday. The core working hours are flexible, but would normally start between 8.00am and 9.30am and finish between 4.30pm and 6.00pm, with up to 1 hour for lunch. The individual will be required to work a minimum of 37 hours per week, but may from time to time, to meet specific business objectives, be required to work additional hours. Hourly pay rate is £11.62.
Undertake warehouse duties, areas covered receiving within Goods Inwards, Issuing, Ordering and stock control within the Stores. Packing, Bagging and Manifesting of Diplomatic mail. Recording and processing of disposals, collection and delivery of mail throughout the companies Operations facilities.
Skills and experience required:
Sound knowledge and experience of working in a warehousing facilities environment.
Articulate and accurate data entry for IT systems to deliver efficient and effective operations.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Up to date knowledge of manual handling procedures
You must have your own transport
