My client on the outskirts of Ipswich are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their busy and expanding team. This is a full-time position and is a vital role within the company, so they are keen to find someone reliable and able to work within a busy environment.
You will be responsible for the following:
Stock control and ensuring stock levels and records are up to date and accurate
Accepting and unpacking deliveries
Helping load and unload vans
Collating materials for the tradesman
General housekeeping and manage waste and recyclables.
You will be a motivated individual with a hard-working mindset, that is not afraid to implement ideas and processes to improve efficiency. You must be able to work as part of a team and be highly organised, who is not afraid to work under pressure or to deadlines. It is key that you have good time management skills and are reliable due to the nature of the role. As this position is based on the outskirts of Ipswich you will require to drive as there is no public transport available. If you have a counterbalance licence, this will be an advantage, but is not essential. Ideally, they are looking for someone with some electrical or plumbing knowledge, however if you have worked in a similar role, I would still like to hear from you.
What’s in it for you?
Salary is up to £22,000 depending upon experience
Hours are Monday to Friday, 0700-1530 with one-hour lunch break.
