JOB PURPOSE:

The Warehouse Operative will have an understanding of the Standard Operating Procedures relevant for the maintenance of the Stores section of the operation.
The job role is a full time position
The successful candidate must be willing to undergo specialised training in order to fulfil the key responsibilities, knowledge and skills requirement.
Reporting directly to the Warehouse and Facilities Manager, you will need to demonstrate
An ability to work under your own initiative, be well organised and have strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Brief description of the job responsibilities:

• Maintain a thorough check of all receipts and documentation of all products.
• Maintain a thorough check of all dispatches and documentation of all products.
• Maintain a regular cycle count of all store products include date and expiry.
• Have an understanding of working in safe and controlled manner.
• Maintain that documentation is filled in accordance with normal store practice.
• Where applicable maintain familiarisation with the operation of the fork lift truck.
• Maintain the stores areas to be kept clean at all times.

MAIN DUTIES:

Relevant experience or qualifications required:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a warehouse role
• Experienced Fork Lift driver, with valid licence
• Focus on Quality
• Strong attention to detail
• Co-operative, Planning and Organised.
• Has good numerical skills
• Has a good understanding of warehousing and logistics best practice.
• Experience in dealing with external customer queries and provides excellent customer service at all times.
• Has a good understanding of health and safety requirements in a warehouse environment.

Desirable:
