This is a temp to perm role in Portbury
To support the Distribution Manager in his duties as well as general administration for the warehouse.
During certain periods, there will be a requirement to help out with general warehouse tasks.
Use of SAP system
Arranging customer orders
Booking in deliveries
Liaising with supervisors and team leaders.
Assisting with temp recruitment and agency staff timesheets
Administrating the warehouse staff holidays
Dealing with telephone queries
Office administration and general ad hoc admin tasks as required.
Organisation of warehouse filing systems
Correct use of SAP
Requests accurately and timely fulfilled.
Previous warehouse experience desirable but not essential
Knowledge of SAP or similar WMS systems
Good IT literacy (good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word)
Previous experience working within an administrative or data entry role
Good organisation skills, able to prioritise and work effectively to deadlines within a sometimes, pressurised environment
Good oral communication skills. Ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of seniority, liaising with other internal departments and external contacts
Good interpersonal skills, able to empathise, maintain professionalism, display patience and politeness.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.
