A high end food manufacturer are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager to maximise quality and efficiency through high-quality team management including recruitment, motivation, direction, training, and performance management


  • Arrange the warehouse to ensure safe and efficient space utilization
  • Receive goods in an accurate and timely fashion and ensure receipting-in processes and procedures are followed
  • Manage goods out and ensure dispatch processes and procedures are followed
  • Keep track of stock movements within the warehouse and at third-party fulfilment centres
  • Manage stock control and ensure the inventory management software is kept up to date with accurate data
  • Manage and conduct frequent stock counts to improve accuracy
  • Maintain the warehouse in a clean, tidy and organised condition


  • Select and manage logistics providers and manage all outbound logistics
  • Liaise with suppliers to manage inbound logistics
  • Liaise with the Planning & Finance team to ensure accurate and efficient stock movement
  • Arrange transport for inbound and outbound deliveries, both in the UK and overseas
  • Manage deliveries to the shops (including, product, packaging, and consumables)
  • Manage deliveries to wholesale and corporate customers, both in the UK and overseas
  • Manage deliveries to suppliers and third-party logistics providers, both in the UK and overseas
  • Manage the timely dispatch of corporate gifts and press samples
  • Manage the ordering and replenishment cleaning products, warehouse materials, pallets, wraps, etc
  • Degree level
  • At least three years of warehouse management and stock control experience
  • Experience of managing goods in and goods out processes and operations
  • Experience of working with third-party logistics and fulfilment partners
  • Highly proficient user of Microsoft Excel and inventory management software
  • Experience of working with food and beverages/ perishable goods with best before dates and batch codes is a plus
  • Good numerical literacy and enjoys working with numbers
  • Holds a full UK driving licence
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Great attention to detail
