REED Social Care are recruiting on behalf of a national supported housing association for a waking night support worker. Based at a scheme in Hull, you will be providing support and assistance to homeless adults. The scheme is designed to provide training and skills in order to break the cycle of homelessness and workless-ness.
The scheme is more than just temporary accommodation. The committed team help people to get back on their feet, into their own home and back to work. It offers an enabling environment, empowering people to live independently, with a range of practical support and facilities designed to boost confidence.
The role is temporary, initially for 8 weeks with the possibility of being extended. The shift pattern is 8 days on 6 days off, from 21.30 to 07.30. You will be working in the assessment hub supporting customers with complex needs. Pay rate is £9.50 per hour.
