The candidate will be responsible back office administration in relation to student revenue queries. E.g. filing, answering calls, helping with basic queries, sending emails, using bespoke systems. Also data entry into databases and ensuring these are maintained to the highest standard.
The post holder is responsible for providing administrative support primarily relating to student fees. The role will involve resolving queries, both directly and by phone/letter
- Effectively handle all customer enquiries within the Income & Treasury Management section by letter, telephone and e-mail.
- Ensure that queries are dealt with effectively and sympathetically consistent with customer care ‘best practice’ and in line with the University’s published policies and procedures
- Manage and maintain debt ledgers to include a proactive review of customer accounts to ensure the integrity of the data.
- Liaise with Colleges and Professional Services on debt recovery issues in particular in respect of student debt.
- Filing and dealing with post for the section as required
- Bring to the attention of managers any matters relating to fraud, non-compliance and regulatory irregularities.
