I am currently recruiting for a successful and constantly growing organisation in their newly formed training academy based in Newbury, Berkshire. This is a brand new role within the business to be a part of the wider training for 196 employees.

This role would suit an experienced training manager who is looking for a new challenge in a company predicted to grow extensively in the coming years! To be able to make a difference and really influence the training methods and content

Training Manager
Salary; £35,000-£40,000
Working Hours: 9:00am-5:30pm
FREE parking on site
25 Days Holiday + BH



Responsibilities of the Training Manager:

• Provide first class administration service to co-ordinate and plan training for employees of the GFS Group;
• Receiving training requirements from the business;
• Responsible for co-ordination of in-house and external training for employees from induction onwards;
• Sourcing and booking specialist training courses and sending out joining
instructions;
• Following up on all attendances and obtaining delegate feedback;
• Entering training information onto personnel records;
• Ensuring budgets are adhered to;
• Ensuring mandatory training and refreshers are attended;
• Maintaining records and distributing certificates;
• Arranging inductions and initial training
• Planning annual training programmes for all staff
• Identify knowledge gaps and training needs
• Delivery of some training;
• Maximisation of e-learning;
• All other reasonable requirements as specified by senior management;
• Ensures work area is clean, secure and well maintained
• Completes special projects as required;

Education and Experience

• Experience in Administration and/or Training roles essential;
• Experience in management of training and budgets;
• Knowledge of H&S processes & procedures desirable but not essential
• Good IT skills, including Excel
• Good level of English & Maths
• Experience in organising training including on-the-job coaching; soft skills and e-learning
• Experience in designing ways to train employees
• Experience in overseeing all professional development
