I have a requirement for a Learning Technologist for my client Thames Valley Police.
To produce VLE content using the material prepared by our design team, specifically at the point in the design process at which the research is complete, and a concept as to how it might be presented described at least in outline. The content needs to be taken from this nominal point to it being a ‘fit-for-purpose’ session on the VLE (Blackboard) and available to the delivery team.
You'll provide expert pedagogical advice, guidance, consultancy and support for academic staff and teams to integrate technological innovations into teaching activities.
Provide advice, assistance and training to staff using VLE and other tools to help them identify VLE features and learning technology tools appropriate to the learning needs of their students.
You'll created documentation, help sheets and video guides to support staff and students in their use of VLE and other e-learning tools and technologies.
You'll review materials on VLE and other e-learning tools and advise staff of best practice for effective use of VLE and other tools, check, edit and test functions and features of content material created.
You'll develop interface designs and module area templates to VLE. Publishing and uploading online learning into the VLE.
The salary for this will be between £300 - £400 per day.
The role will be based in Sulhamstead
