An exciting new role has been created within a values based organisation in the Valleys area for a Training and Development specialist. This is a varied role which covers the whole learning cycle.

This role will be reporting to the Learning and Development Manager and will focus on the full training cycle. You will deliver learning in an engaging and impactful way to all employees, managing and delivering an effective learning experience across all levels of the business.

This is a new role created and will allow the person in post to be creative and make it their own. Historically, the organisation has used external providers for the majority of their courses. They are now looking for is someone who is able to design a range of blended learning materials for a variety of courses and deliver these across the organisation.

Main duties will include:

* The design and delivery of a variety of training courses
* Design and facilitate other types of learning interventions
* Manage relationships with external training providers
* Developing and maintaining a health and safely matrix
*Develop the organization approach to induction
* Contribute towards a learning and coaching culture

In order to be considered for this role you must have a proven track record in design and delivery of learning and development initiatives.

You must have:
* The ability to coach managers
* Influencing and negotiating skills
* Sound knowledge of bets practise and contemporary approach to L & D interventions
* Previous significant experience in an L & D role
* Proven experience of designing, delivering and evaluating L & D programmes
* A relevant L & D / Training qualification or equivalent
* Strong presentation and facilitation skills
