My client is a property investment company that due to expansion is currently looking to recruit a Trainee Property Buyer to join their growing team. This is a full time permanent position. 

Starting salary £20,000

37.5 hour week Monday-Friday

Parking permit provided plus other fantastic benefits

Key responsibilities: 

(Please note you will not be expected to have experience of all of the below as training will be given)

• High volume screening to identify homes that would be suitable for occupation by supported living tenants
• Good feel for value, negotiating purchase price and understanding impact on modifications desktop/on site.
• Ability to map our Care Providers’ requirements against the available national supply
• Develop strong relationships with selling agents nationally, in both the residential markets and commercial markets, where conversion is possible
• A passion for development and ability to absorb “rule of thumb” principles to help screen which properties may lend themselves to adaptation for supported living, or be able to swiftly rule out non-starters.
• Liaising with the Transaction Team to ensure all relevant information required to transact is available.
• Utilise the company database to its potential and suggest improvements that can be made to streamline processes further

What they are looking for:

Ideally you will have some knowledge or experience within the property sector. However this is not essential, an interest in property with the right skills would be sufficient. 

This could be as a trainee sales or lettings negotiator, property administrator or manager.
