My client one of the UK's largest pensions and actuarial administration and pensions consulting business are actively looking to recruit skilled pensions administrators to join their team within Defined Benefit, Final Salary Pensions.   The group has more than 430 employees across several office locations and are keen to find ambitious hard working individuals with preferably 6 months off administration exposure preferably within Pensions.   In addition, the ideal applicant will be well educated preferably to degree level and have a keen interest in working within Pensions and Financial  Services.  The training programme will be exceptional although the starting salary low.   The client rewards talent and you will be recognised for your skills. 

The main duties are as follows:-

The Trainee Pensions Administrator will be responsible for providing support for the administration service provided by the wider team. Using specialised pension databases, the role will be responsible for maintaining data and processing requests in relation to the membership. Full training will be provided along with ongoing support including assistance in obtaining professional qualifications.

Main duties and responsibilities:- 

• Maintaining data and processing requests in relation to the Pension database and membership
• Completing updates to the pensions database to ensure that records are accurately maintained
• Dealing with enquiries on the telephone, email and in writing
• Dealing confidently with member enquiries by phone, e mail and letter
• Dealing with general and administration duties as directed
• Ensuring that work is prioritised correctly so that target dates are met

To be considred you must be able to demonstrate the following:-

- Minimum 6 months within an office environment in Financial Services
- Keen interest in working in Pensions
- Preferably studying FA2 or interested in achieving
