WE ARE LOOKING FOR FIVE PERMANENT TRAINEE CLAIMS CALL HANDLERS TO START ON MONDAY 7th AUGUST.

REED are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading International insurance company based in the centre of Bristol.

A fantastic opportunity presents itself for a number of Trainee Claims Call Handlers.

You will be dealing with incoming calls from client relating to both ongoing and new travel insurance claim applications. These calls will generally involve the first notification of the claim from the customer, calls from brokers and on occasion you will be tasked with dealing with complaints escalating where necessary.


Main Duties and Responsibilities are:

- Handle all telephone calls in a customer focused way
- Input customer details correctly ensuring the correct forms are sent within 24 hours
- Record and update customer information accurately
- Communicate clearly, accurately and effectively with internal and external customers
- Ensure that all regulatory guidelines are adhered to
- Adhere to the company’s FCA and TCF (treating customers fairly) guidelines
- Be compliant with the Data Protection Act 1998
- Support managers to manage the key risks within your department
- Ensure that you conduct your role with honesty and integrity
- Report any suspected incidents of fraud and corruption
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Undertake


You will:

- Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Have the ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
- Have good planning and organisation skills in order to meet deadline.
- Have good geographical knowledge

This is a full time role covering 37.5 hours per week between 08:30am - 17:00pm Monday - Friday.

Some flexibility may be required to meet business needs.

The starting salary is £17,000 pa rising to £18,000 pa after 6 months.
