You will be responsible for;
- Providing a help desk service, offering front-line application support and troubleshooting
- Assisting students with self service kiosks
- Answering general inquiries
- Help users to produce their work, assisting with the use of digital media packages, printing, photocopying etc.
- Assist with the day to day management of the library
- Stock control, inventory and other record keeping
- Produce user guides, including web based materials
- Updating and maintaining Library web pages, social networking sites and other resources
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, and have the passion, energy and enthusiasm to create and enjoyable workplace.
You will have strong IT skills with knowledge and experience in the following IT Systems and applications; Network environments, Windows, Apple Mac, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and the internet. Ideally you will have worked within a similar establishment and will have worked with students in an educations or art & design sector.
You must be available to start work immediately and work Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays each week, 7.5 hours per day.
