Est. over 20 years, manufacture custom sizes and styles in a wide range of different materials all products are for point of sales e.g. banner stands, window displays, ticket holders etc.

Telephone Account Manager - Stockport

My client is a market leading product design, manufacturer and distributor with an extremely impressive client list – they specialise in products that will make any business with a store-front look professional, credible
and well branded. 

They deal with the likes of Debenhams, John Lewis, Selfridges, Barclays, Boots, B&Q, M&S, Zara, House Of Fraser, Wagamamas, Lloyds - the list goes on and on......

They have been in business for over 30 years and have continued to expand – and are now looking to recruit an experienced Telephone Account Manager to support, nurture and grow key accounts. 

Key responsibilities;
- Making outbound calls to target customers and develop effective relationships
- Dealing with inbound enquiries via email, telephone and face-to-face positively and professionally
- Establishing customer requirements quickly
- Working cross functionally with the Estimating team to generate quotes in a timely manner, Warehouse, Accounts and Procurement - escalating delays to Sales Manager
- Following up on quotes, samples and prospecting leads effectively 
- Effective delivery of sales targets and goals
- Operate in line with all sales protocols and procedures
- Ensuring customer data is kept up to date and accurate
- Identify sales opportunities to grow account through analysis of trends in order history; research via media releases, annual results and ‘knowing your customer’
- Introducing new, targeted, products based on client knowledge
- Understanding client’s business via visits and effective research and communication
- Meeting client representatives where appropriate
- Upselling where opportunities present themselves
- Maintaining contact with customers on a regular basis

The candidate;
- Experience dealing with customers over the telephone
- Experience of CRM systems is essential
- Must have 1-2 years minimum sales experience
- A passion for delivering excellent service is essential
- Excellent communication skills

The package;

The client is offering a basic salary of circa 25k + additional bonuses of circa £5k per annum
