Telephone Account Manager


£21,000 OTE £28000

Dealing with clients to enhance their memberships discounts by introducing new areas of the business and products as well as acting in a consultative way to inform client how to get bigger discounts through strategic purchasing

Key Responsibilities

  • Build good understanding of internal systems to be able to deliver key objectives
  • Ensure appropriate tracking systems are in place to demonstrate key deliverables
  • Establish, maintain and improve effective communications both internally and externally developing a strong team spirit with a focused awareness on the larger business team
  • Work with the Service Centres to make sure that they deliver on customers’ orders (have the ability to understand the flow of activity required to fulfil the order and communicate where necessary)
  • Work with the other product consultants in delivering new ideas to generate business / new customers and drive sales
  • Help deliver generic sales targets / input daily orders and prospecting for new business opportunities


Candidates will ideally have:

  • Good interpersonal skills and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Sales experience with the ability to demonstrate a variety of sales techniques.
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels and to build excellent relationships – with both internal and external customers
  • Good organisational skills
  • Previous experience within a Customer service Department
  • IT literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Email
