My client based in Maidstone who are Technical filtration and Water Treatment Specialists require a capable and motivated person to join the team of Technical Support. You will need to be technically competent across the range of products whilst having the ability to co-ordinate, action, analyse, and communicate information within the company and to potential and current customers as well as suppliers. 

Location; Maidstone
Hours; 37.5 Hours per week (office is open between 9am-5.30pm)
Salary; £28,000-£32,000
Holiday; 28 Days inclusive of Bank Holidays

To comprehensively work with suppliers to maintain and improve product quality.
To provide technically competent advice for customers and employees, on a range of products, to be able to specify new equipment for an application or resolve trouble shooting issues. 
Maintain and develop working relationships with current and new suppliers to resolve quality issues and explore new opportunities.
Take responsibility for all aspects of Product Quality throughout the company.
To obtain, analyse and communicate accurate product information to all departments and customers alike.
To support where necessary the Sales Team to advise customers technically on product choice, introducing new products and cross-selling to alternatives when required.
To utilise the on-site laboratory for product development and testing.
To prepare technical data in a commercial format that can be understood and utilised throughout the company and target markets.
Maximise sales and profit at every opportunity when offering technical support.
Update and Maintain accurate records on the CRM System.
Liase with the Marketing Team, Customer Service Team and Sales Team.
Offer full coverage during peak times or absence.
Seek out additional development to become technically conversant with all existing and new products and use knowledge gained from sales calls to feed back through relevant channels.

Proven Commercial Experience
Educated to A-Level/ Degree standard or Equivalent
Strong analytical and communication skills
Good organisational skills
Good administrative ability
Experience of using ERP software
The ability to work within a team structure
