This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a highly successful global business within the Heating and Hot Water and Renewable Technology Industry, the role will be field based in the UK and will require regular visits to our UK head office. As an integral part of the field management team, you will report to the UK Parts and Service Manager.
The Technical and Quality Manager will have the overall responsibility for ensuring that the company is up to date with all of the legal, regulatory and Health and Safety regulations and that all of our working practice and products conform to these requirements.
You will also be responsible for creating, designing and delivering technical training to all levels within the companies network, this will include working with our marketing teams to understand where we can deliver improvements.
The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated and able to work autonomously for long periods of time, with the ability to identify key performance issues and put action plans in place to drive improvements. You will also be a technical expert with all of the companies products including new products introductions, ensuring quality control and reporting according to group processes. This position has a number of direct reports who work on the technical helpline and the job holder will be responsible for ensuring that the technical help line operates effectively and gives an exceptional level of customer support.
Engineering Qualification / Similar work related experience with excellent standard of English & Maths.
Knowledge of boiler and heating industry (preferable). But previous demonstrable experience in a similar role in a similar industry
