An exceptional opportunity to join one of the leading city firms in a pivotal position.
Working closely with the Managing Partner, you will liaise closely with the RIs that have formal responsibility for designated compliance roles. As far as possible, you will operate with considerable autonomy.

The main tasks will include, but are not limited to:
• Documentation of the firm’s audit and related procedures
• Conduct hot and cold reviews and internal reporting
• Advice and decision-making on matters of audit judgement and financial reporting judgement
• Advice where managers and partners are uncertain or unable to conclude
• Briefing on new developments
• Assist Managing Partner in the maintenance and development of other systems and procedures
• Provision of training programmes for audit trainees
• Provision of post-qualification technical updates
• Develop the firm’s broader training programmes

To be successful, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Broad technical knowledge in audit and financial reporting
• Experience with high level professional audit responsibilities over a range of client types and sizes is essential
• Desirable experience of handling Audit Compliance responsibilities, as well as Training responsibilities and Technical support role
• Accomplished presenter
• MSOffice skills; namely Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• CCH Accounts Production and ProAudit skills an advantage
• Professional writing skills
• High professional standards and attention to detail
• Confident and assertive
• The ability to manage competing demands
• Good communication skills and the ability to act with initiative.
