Property Services - Team Leader
Management of mulit-disciplined team. Experience of working in the housing sector or property maintenance.
To provide a professional and comprehensive support service to the whole of Property Services,comprising Compliance, Stock Investment and Heating as well as the wider Directorate with the team of Administrators that you are managing. Provide a high level of organisational and administrative skills, ensuring that you and the team members work collaboratively to achieve targets, objectives
and are customer focused at all times.
The post holder will be expected to take a flexible approach to the duties of the post and to assist in
covering all aspects of administrative work throughout the directorate as required in order to support
delivery of the organisation’s business goals.
To deputise for the Head of Property Analytics
All data is input in a timely and accurate manner
All work orders are raised and updated in a timely manner
Running and reporting on business reports as scheduled or an adhoc basis
Ensuring that the team create an accurate pre and post inspections
Creating and maintaining electronic files
Supporting and contributing to the KPI performance targets.
Be the key point of contact for the directorate in relation to all business support
requirements. Manage your team to ensure attendance and housekeeping is covered daily to ensure no
delays in service internally or externally. Work within the Directorate and Managers to ensure that all business support works are
captured and actioned appropriately. Ensure all records are accurately updated as required across the whole of Property Services,
reviewing performance with the Administrators and reporting any issues immediately to the
relevant Manager. Assist with the contracts within a business support element.
Manage conflicting and demanding priorities, from both within the team and externally whilst
focusing on delivering outcomes to the benefit of the services.
Ensure robust systems are in place to deliver all aspects of work, and that information is
readily available to the Team and/or relevant staff.
Support the wider team and your own, with the financial forecasting and spend as well as
processing and authorising invoices through to payment. Liaise with contractors of any
outstanding invoices or reconciliations. Maintain up to date information on servicing, repairs and installations utilising the IT software
available to ensure data is captured in a central place. Liaise with the Property Services Management Team and ensure that all administrators action their responsibilities within the team Support staff with any projects across the Directorate that relate as well as supporting with Audits.
Act along with your team as the first point of contact for internal and external customers including
our contractors, to resolve any queries that are raised. If not able to do so, to escalate to the
appropriate person/team/contractor. Ensure all meetings are planned for the Directorate and arrange meetings, organising minute
taking and updates are actioned.
Team working to support all within the team. To ensure high quality monthly 121’s and annual appraisals are carried out against setting clear objectives and targets. To take appropriate action on any grievance, sickness absence, performance issues or
