Would you like to work with a school that keeps to its "old school" traditions as much as it innovates and expands?

Reed Education Reading are working closely with a school in Windsor with excellent feedback from our current teachers and long term temporary staff. With, in excess of 800 students currently and means to increase to over 1000 in the coming year.

The school are looking to recruit a Teacher of English to join the schools successful English Department in October 2017.

The Head Teacher has a real view of how to improve the school and set it aside from other academies in the borough, at the same time as keeping some of the schools traditions. In his words "this school is the type of school where the students stand when the Head Teacher walks in, the students are polite and will hold a door open for you in the hallways".

The position is for a full time temporary Teacher of English with the intention to start as quickly as possible a permanent contract could potentially be offered after a successful trial period. The positions would require lessons to be delivered from KS3 to A-Level English as well as to plan and prepare high quality lessons.

The successful candidate would be paid to scale due to the necessity of PPA.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Qualified or Unqualified English Teacher and applications from NQT’s are also warmly welcomed.

What you will need:

- Necessary qualifications or experience.
- School environment experience, particularly at Secondary level.
- Strong IT skills - ability to use email and other forms of electronic communication.
- Good organisational, communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to time constraints.
