Job Title: Support Service Manager

Our REED Education FE branch are currently working with a great college on an exciting new role in the Surrey area. 

Starting immediately, the college are looking for an outstanding Support Service Manager to join them on a temporary basis.

The Role:

· Promote and provide a high quality front line support service to students and staff.
· Manage and monitor the services’ allocated budget.
· Together with the Head of Student Experience and Welfare, develop policy and practice in relation to the support services, ensuring continuous quality improvement of the work of the team. 
· Working with the Head of Student Experience and Welfare, lead on and ensure that the LSF and other relevant funding is allocated appropriately and kept within budget. This will include working with the Support Service Manager, payments team and welfare staff to ensure this is managed and administered in line with College policy and procedures in addition to operationally coordinate the provision.

What you will need:

· First degree (or equivalent) qualification
· A recognised qualification in advice and guidance or social work
· Experience of setting up, improving and implementing services in a customer service environment
· Experience of managing staff and leading a team.
· Substantial experience of providing successful welfare advice and guidance to individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds and all age groups
