This is an 18 month fixed term contract opportunity to join a busy supply chain logistics team as a Supply Chain Co-ordinator. Excellent working environment and free parking is available. You’ll be involved in processing orders for various products and parts, managing the process and the flow of information. Your responsibilities will include for example:
Review of vendors’ delivery and production plans provided to ensure requirements can be met
Working on daily and weekly reports related to shipping requirements and dispatches.
Controlling phased in/out parts to make sure customer needs are met, while minimising risk of obsolete stock
Arranging returns and issuing relevant paperwork
Dealing with any queries, orders, shortages, damaged goods and incorrect deliveries
Deciding on action to resolve any issues with agreed delivery dates, liaising with both procurement and production.
Controlling stock levels to ensure targets are achieved
Assisting with daily and weekly stock reconciliation
Liaising with demand planners, logistics, distribution centres and customers.
Tracking, monitoring and tracing shipments in transit.
Participating in support projects to improve and standardise Supply Chain processes
The successful candidate will already have relevant experience in a similar supply chain / order processing environment. You’ll also be well organised and have excellent attention to detail. Good IT skills will be required (including MS Excel). Any additional European language skills would be useful, but this is not essential.
