Previous administration, reception and or secretary experience?



Duties will be varied and will be decided and allocated by the Office Manager who is responsible for the quality and timely delivery of the unit. Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Daily attendance processes
- Reception service and visitor management
- Assisting in the school provision for pupil welfare when required
- SIMS database input, management, and upkeep
- Lost property management
- School communications
- Bus service hotline
- Student card administration
- Fire procedures
- Daily post
- First aider

Experience and skills needed:
- An ability to work to deadlines
- An ability to work fast (but without mistakes)
- Strong organisational skills
- Work in an organised manner using own knowledge and expertise to deliver in a timely and quality driven manner
IT
- Excellent Microsoft skills across a range of applications
- Understand and apply technology to achieve efficient and effective business and personal results
- Strong communication skills including a professional telephone manner
- Professional in nature and appearance with a flexible and positive attitude
- Personable and confident manner
- First rate listening, grammar, numeracy, comprehension, presentation and communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Strong work ethic

Hours:
Term Time and INSET Days: 1.30pm- 7.00pm
School Holidays: 1.30pm – 5.00pm
