Our client, a public sector organisation in Taunton are recruiting for a Street Works Technician for an assignment until March 2021.
In this busy role, you will be working in a planning team coordinating essential street works.
Duties will include:
- Liaise between the organisation and external bodies to plan street works
- Give basic advice (training will be provided) to answer queries between colleague and external organisations
- Provide Administrative support to the team, collating data & reports, updating records and working to high degrees of accuracy
- Ensure public information (relating to road closures) is released in a timely manner
Candidates for this role will have:
Strong administrative skills in a busy and fast paced environment
Experience in a scheduling/planning administrative role would be advantageous
Good planning and organisation skills
Competent IT user (Microsoft work/Excel packages)
This role will be home based initially, but based in Taunton when the organisation return to the office.
