I am recruiting for a Strategic Partnerships Data Analyst for my client, who is based only a 5 minute walk from the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines in North West London. This role is based within a Local Authority and will support the multi-agency Local Safeguarding Children Board, working closely with the Strategic Partnerships Officer and Strategic Partnerships Manager. The role is based in a small and newly established team.

What the role entails:

You will drive the development and management of LSCB’s performance framework and processes by analysing data, making recommendations to the LSCB and implementing the resulting actions. You will be responsible for collecting, maintaining, analysing and reporting on data sets to identify and monitor performance outcomes in relation to the LSCB and compile reports to meet local and national reporting standards.
You will analyse and interpret performance data, trends and comparative benchmarking information and monitor the outcomes of service provision. You will also identify potential performance challenges, related causes and wider implications to the service as well as undertake performance reviews.
Experience/ knowledge you must have:

Be educated to degree level (preferably involving numeracy and or/date) or have equivalent experience.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of statutory safeguarding responsibilities of local authorities, statutory agencies and broader partner organisations.
Knowledge and understanding of the major factors, influences and challenges facing LSCBs, and an understanding of detailed statutory responsibilities and functions of the LSCB is also required
Knowledge of legislation and guidance in safeguarding children and an understanding of safeguarding requirements within the wider context of improving outcomes for children and families and communities
Experience in working in a multi-agency environment and providing support to partnership arrangements.
