I am recruiting for a Strategic Partnerships Administrator on behalf of my client, a company based a 5 minute walk from the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines in North West London. This role is based within a Local Authority and will support the multi-agency Local Safeguarding Children Board, working closely with the Strategic Partnerships Officer and Strategic Partnerships Manager. The role is based in a small and newly established team.
What you will do:
Plan and schedule all LSCB meetings and prepare and circulate agenda packs and other related papers. Take accurate minutes and distribute appropriately, and manage the LSCB Chair’s and LSCB diary. You will support the Strategic Partnerships Officer in managing shared systems for maintaining the records relating to the work of the LSCB and assist in the coordination of the subgroup’s activities.
You will ensure that all of the documents of the LSCB and subgroups are maintained, are up to date and are accessible and you will liaise with suppliers, raise requisitions and process invoices as required. Provide administrative support to Serious Case Reviews and support the maintenance and management of the external website and social media presence.
Liaise with a diverse range of people including Board Members, Senior Managers, etc. Provide day-to-day support for the LSCB team including dealing with telephone queries, responding to requests for information, diary management, drafting letters and emails, management of meetings and agendas. You will also support the Strategic Partnerships team in preparing for special projects and inspections and also contributing to the planning, preparation and editing of all publications.
The knowledge/ experience you need:
Experience of working in a multi-agency environment and providing support to partnership arrangements.
Ability to deal with confidential information, and take accurate minutes.
Proficient in the use of a wide range of IT systems and software packages (MS Office, etc.)
Competent in the maintenance, development and management of intranet and intranet systems and databases.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to form new working relationships quickly
Competent in leading the organisation of events including exhibition launches, promotional events, staff development programmes and conferences.
Understanding of the roles and responsibilities of working within a multi-agency framework and coordination of multiple stakeholders
