Centrally located near Holburn Station and easily accessible from the West End, Soho, Covent Garden and Euston, you will be working in a vibrant work environment, geared to the leisure industry.
The venue consists of a 90 cover restaurant with leather booths, lounge cocktail bar with professional mixologists, retro photo booth and exclusive venue hire for up to 300 people. There is also a private club house for up to 80 people, which includes its own cocktail bar!
The restaurant offers home-style American cooking and everything is made in-house with ingredients sourced from top suppliers.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a restaurant, ideally offering American type cuisine, they must be able to run a kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence and have good awareness of food hygiene and allergens. Also, experience managing labour costs through rotas and calculating GP / yields / variances and implementing solutions to correct issues and experience training / developing junior members of a brigade.
As Sous Chef, you will work 40 hours a week, 5 over 7 days on a rota system. The restaurant closes at 11pm, so you will always be out before midnight when on a late shift.
