Graduate Developer/ Full Stack Software Developer
North of Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary £20,000 to £25,000 + free parking + support/mentoring

About You:
If you are a graduate developer or a junior developer looking to work in a cutting edge software development environment this could be the role for you!
You’ll be joining a small and friendly software development team of 7 who work on a selection of well-established software products that are sold (and supported) to their high profile client base.

About the role:
The software products you’ll be working on have been developed from scratch in-house and they are ‘active’ products that are constantly evolving and being developed. As a graduate/junior software developer you will have some experience OR knowledge in C#.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SQL Server and have a genuine interest in working with cutting edge technologies. Experience with MVC is preferred but not essential.
You will come in and be assigned a mentor who will be a senior member of the dev team and will work closely with you to share product knowledge to ensure you’re developing your skills.

You will be joining a progressive and forward thinking development environment who have an excellent track record in mentioring and supporting graduate developers. They have 3 experienced developers in the team who started out as Graduates and have moved up the ranks and been promoted within the business. As the successful candidate you will be ‘a thinker’ and be encouraged to share ideas with the development team.

In a typical day you’ll be expected to work closely with the lead developer to create new features on their software products. Current projects involve working on a bespoke quality check application, a holiday booking and hours tracking system and a cutting edge geographical navigation system.

You will be rewarded with a supportive and collaborative working environment with the view to progress you to senior developer in time. You'll be working in a flexible relaxed environment and enjoy the odd monthly curry night with the team! Working hours are semi-flexible, you'll have free parking, 25 days holiday + bank holidays and annual salary reviews.

The process will involve a face to face interview with the hiring manager and a meet and greet with the development team.

CVs are being reviewed within 48 hours so please apply ASAP to be considered or call 0191 255 1780 and ask for Cheryl for a confidential chat.
