I am looking for a Service Desk Officer for a Public Sector client based in London.

This is a 3 month contract and is Inside IR35

This role is paying between £100 - £130 a day 

Main duties/Key responsibilities:

The post holder will be responsible for:

• Provide frontline IT helpdesk support, for either location, remotely or at the physical location
• Take ownership of tasks generated through the helpdesk system, pursuing them to completion
• Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade desktop hardware and software systems
• Maintain optimal workstation performance across site via proactive strategies
• Maintain, and diagnose problems on mobile devices such as laptops, tablets and phones
• Follow and contribute to standard processes and local team policies
• Undertake auditing of software and hardware
• Undertake general troubleshooting and investigative work with network and wireless connectivity
• Investigate and resolve desktop related issues with other applications and services (O365, EDRMS, File and Print etc)
• Monitor and log issues with the local servers and wider services not directly supported
• Replace consumables with the printer services at site
• Provide user training and support of basic computer and application use
• Contribute ideas for streamlining and improving standard processes
