A leading company in supplying & manufacturing industry specific management solutions with a major worldwide presence are looking for a Service Desk Co-ordinator to join their head office based in Swindon.

The role will comprise of the following but not limited to: 

• To receive and record customer requests for repair and planned work.
• Through quality questioning, using superior listening skills and technical understanding of products, reduce unnecessary engineer visits to customer sites
• Maintain the Company system and Engineer data.
• Progress outstanding parts orders.
• Interact with Service desk team, when needed, to ensure all field service engineers are booked and scheduled for required upgrades.
• Support the Service organisation administration tasks as and when required.


To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will possess the following attributes:

• Flexible and pragmatic in ensuring quality customer service delivery at all times
• Excellent customer service skills and experience with a related qualification is preferable.
• Must be able to demonstrate superior problem solving skills and deliver solutions appropriate to the customer
• Have a high level of understanding of modern electronic, and computer systems.
• A self-starter mentality with an aptitude for recognising improvement opportunities then suggest methods that will improve.
• Able to demonstrate good numeracy, literacy and communication skills at all levels.
• Able to demonstrate good computer literacy (MS Office) and keyboard skills.
• Tenacious in ones approach to work and able to follow through to completion.
• Have a methodical approach to their work, with good attention to detail.
• Able to work to deadlines while working under one’s own initiative.
• Work well within a team environment but still be able to make one’s own decisions.
• Have the ability to take on and work to follow set operational procedures whilst at the same time looking for ways to improve.
• Flexible in approach and willing to work overtime as required.
