Fantastic long term opportunity available to work in a Service Delivery Co-ordinator role for a charitable organisation in Leeds City Centre. 

Length of Assignment: 8 months (FTC) with the potential for extension. 

Working Hours: Full Time. Monday - Friday. 09:00 - 17:15. (Flexible hours are available).

Location: Leeds City Centre

Role Purpose


Working with the service delivery managers to support the effective management of delivery of the project, in accordance with agreed funding contract requirements. 

To monitor sub-contract compliance and performance of delivery partners in line with the commitments made to the funder. 

To support effective relationships with delivery partners, including acting as first point of contact and facilitation of two way communications. 

Support delivery of core objectives relevant to the role within the agreed timescales, working with the project team colleagues as appropriate. 

Key Duties

Deliver projects / business plan objectives for the team.

Contributing to the development and maintenance of operational relationships with service providers, delivery partners and other key internal and external stakeholders. 

First point of contact for delivery partners. providing support on an ongoing basis and maintaining regular contact. 

Regular visits to delivery partners. 

Contributing to timely, planned and coordinated communications and events for delivery partners in respect of project delivery using a variety of methods. 

Identifying project risks and issues and reporting them to the manager.

Supporting delivery partners with the reporting process and funder requirements, ensuring all data is captured appropriately.

Contributing to monitoring of delivery partner performance and sub-contract compliance. 

Promoting and embedding new project initiatives. 

Develop & implement best practice systems and processes. 

Maintain and develop expertise and insight. 

Contribute to the team by being an active member, maintaining flexibility, supporting and co-operating with the rest of the team. 

Contribute to ongoing financial monitoring and controls as necessary. 

Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably require within the scope of the role, including the support of other service contracts within the department. 

Person Spec

Understanding of contract compliance monitoring and performance management. 

Proven ability to work to collate information and write concise reports, including analysing management information, identifying issues/risks and making recommendations. 

Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills; including an ability to build relationships with staff at all levels. 

High level of written communication skills including the ability to tailor communications to suit context and audience; including reports and delivery partner communications. 

Ability to work within a team. 

Proven ability to work on own initiative and plan and organize own work in a busy environment and working accurately to agreed deadlines. 

Competent use of Google & Microsoft Offices

Willingness and ability to work unsociable hours and undertake travel throughout the UK with potentially some overnight stays (London / Birmingham / Manchester).
