A new opportunity has arisen within a financial services organisation for those seeking a permanent, full time Senior Treasury Analyst position with a salary range of £38,000 to £45,000 depending on experience.

As a member of the finance team, you will be responsible for budgetary process and cost control to help the company achieve its objective, which requires all members of the team to work closely with all departments across the business. The aim of the role primarily involves the management of core treasury activities, which includes management of funding transactions and liquidity & financial risks in the company. As the Senior Treasury Analyst you will be reporting directly to the Treasury & MI Manager.

Key responsibilities:
General strategic
Under the guidance of line management, assist in developing the organisation's treasury management with specific focus on:
- Keeping stability of funding
- Achieving COF efficiency
- Liquidity and financial risk management
- Follow company policies and regulatory requirement (ex. Leverage guidance)

Planning and budgetary control
Assist line manager and other members of the Senior Management Team in developing an annual treasury plan, outlining timings and high-level funding plan deliverables based on the strategic goals established for the role with line management and deliver the plan in line with the prescribed timings.

Validation of monthly closing
Under the guidance of line management, assist in validation of monthly closing with specific focus on:
- Validation of monthly treasury closing, including checking proper rate and spread were applied
- Reconciliation of swap valuation
- Validation of existence and accuracy of financial asset
- Validation of completeness and accuracy of financial liability

Working under the guidance of line manager and other members of the Senior Management Team to produce monthly financial reports and support to report them to management in a timely manner
- Securitisation related reporting
- Treasury dash board
- Other ad-hoc reports requested from the company or shareholders

Support line manager and other senior management to manage finance treasury matters properly through ALCO.

Monthly treasury operation
Support line manager to execute treasury operation accurately e.g.:
- Monthly investor report preparation
- Collateral performance analysis
- Asset transfers
- Investor queries

Treasury deal support

Support line management and other senior management to execute treasury deal which the company require e.g.:
- Funding transactions
- General transaction management/ support
- Managing hedging activities


Use, enhance and build new treasury and models to support treasury analytics and funding transactions including:
- Securitisation revolving mechanisms
- Financial assets and liquidity scenario analysis
- Historical analysis on the company’s portfolio

Remuneration package
- Salary £38,000-£45,000
- Eligibility for quarterly bonus, based on company success and individual performance review process

Given the scope of this position it is essential that the job holder has the following experience:
- Sound and relevant experience within financial services, preferably asset related, together with the required soft skills
- Has accreditation and a strong understanding of relevant SAS software and related modelling, together with data mining, MI/ reporting and the related technical knowledge
- Strong all round PC software skills and is able to produce high quality, accurate working documentation and presentations, including business case proposals and requirements, briefs and presentations
- Excellent analytical skills and must be able to demonstrate strong numerical ability
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Independent; ability to operate effectively with minimal guidance
- Well organised, goal orientated, able to meet deadlines and able to prioritise and delegate work
- Ability to work under pressure often dealing with several issues simultaneously
- Ability to grasp complex ideas quickly and effectively
- Proven team player
- Strong communication skills, with clear verbal communicate.

- Has the appropriate level of education and SAS certification. Preferably part-qualified or studying towards a recognised credit risk management qualification
- Has the relevant BA degree (relevant majors: Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, and etc.)
- Related professional part-qualified (e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA, CFA)

Other information:
- The position may require international as well as domestic travel from time to time
- The job holder would benefit from possessing a full driving licence
