I am currently recruiting for a Service Desk Analyst to join a growing team in Central Cardiff. This role will act as a Service Desk Lead for a new department within a large, exciting employer. You will join an existing team of 2 on the service desk and be a main point of contact for internal stakeholders. The salary for this role is around £30,000 DOE.

You will provide technical support and incident resolution to internal staff. You will work as a team and have strong analytical skills. You will provide weekly and monthly updates on the service desk performance and monitor ageing escalations. You will proactively report on KPIs and mentor more junior members of staff. You will work with all IT teams to resolve issues and problems.

This role will suit an individual who is very personable and happy to liaise with a variety of internal stakeholders regarding service desk matters. You will be able to handle sensitive situations and have a professional manner. You will have strong experience on a service desk and providing 1st – 2nd line support. You will have knowledge around Office 365 and Cloud Technologies and ideally some networking experience.
