Perm Role 
Office based Wimbledon area
All sites and projects based SW London 
Salary £70k area dep on experience 
Report to the Operations Director 
Reason for the role due to the growth of the business 

The Senior Quantity/Project Surveyor is responsible for managing the costs in very capacity on the project to ensure that building contracts are delivered on time that he/she is involved in, to the standards required with the budget, whilst also maximizing client satisfaction and company profits. They will be responsible for working with the Contract Manager on the monthly reporting on all costs collated from variations on site, keeping accounts fully up to date.

He/she will be responsible for managing Quantity/Project Surveyors and making sure all company procedures are followed at all times.
The Senior Quantity/Project Surveyor will collate all financial costs (CVR, cashflows, forecasts) for all projects and provide an overall report on project finances to Operations Director.

Short-term Planning and Monitoring

With the Contract Manager, agree job programmes and produce procurement for the project.
Distribute projects to other company Quantity/Project Surveyors as suitable, and as agreed with the Operations Director.
In conjunction with programme and Critical Path Information schedule, procure packages as agreed with Contracts Manager, ensuring all packages are procured and orders placed with suitable sub-contractors/suppliers to meet programme. All packages are to be signed off on all projects by the Senior Quantity/Project Surveyor before orders are let.
Ensure timely request for and delivery of all information that is on the programme critical path to enable the procurement process to happen in good time.
Identify variations to contract and collate costs as necessary and in a timely manner, in order to meet programme. Update account and inform client of cost changes to the contract. Working with Contracts Manager to ensure any variations, where a delay may occur, are reported.
Compile reports as required, demonstrating progress against programme and budget with full monthly cost report to client provided with monthly valuation.

Carry out such other duties as are consistent with the job-holder’s knowledge and skills and are necessary for the satisfactory completion of contracts or for attainment of the goals of the business.

Must have over 5 years experience as a SQS
Have run projects from start to completion 
Project experience must include Residential Refurbishments and new Build 
Project value up to £10m

Excellent communication skills 

Must be willing to commute to sites in SW London
