An Award Winning Bank currently have an urgent requirement for a Senior PMO who’s responsibilities will include provide cost management governance and identify new vendors where niche skills are required.
The role will be located in London and will be an initial 6 month contract. The client would be looking to pay in the region of £400 - £500 per day.
Responsibilities
• Provide cost management governance and process guidance for Ops IT
• Assist with resource demand planning for COO and the wider Ops IT teams
• Translate demand into reality – work with workstream lead to scope requirements and using the ITCM demand management team identify appropriate supply channels and vendors
• Build relationships with GSV and approved Vendor Account Managers
• Identify new vendors where niche skills are required and work with the ITCM team to negotiate rate cards and have the vendor added to the Global PSL
• Work with the ITCM team to run the weekly cost approvals process for Ops IT – chair and run the weekly pre-meeting Mini-cab for COO
• Undertake retrospective deep-dives into the Ops IT resource footprint looking for efficiencies in cost and delivery
• Be abreast of the resource renewals cycle and proactively engage with workstream leads to provide an early warning system and plan for renewal, termination or transition to replacement
