We are working exclusively with a well-established local practice in North Liverpool who currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager with aspirations to take over the practice in the next 5 years.

This is anything but a typical firm, they offer a variety of practical services alongside the Accounts, Tax, bookkeeping and VAT such as systems support and wealth management. One of the main projects they have undertaken is to migrate their clients onto Xero and are Xero experts so they can offer the support their clients need.

They pride themselves on providing a logical and methodical approach so their clients receive the best possible service and have built a reputation on providing a high quality of work which along with their approach has guaranteed client retention. They are a small and friendly team with a family feel offering a great working environment for both staff and clients.

You will be a Manager or Senior Manager who would like to take over an established firm within the next 5 years.

Your Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Accounts preparation and Business Services
• Developing and mentoring the trainee accountants
• Reviewing the work of junior staff
• Passionate about networking, cross selling and wining new clients
• Fully responsible for systems and cloud based solutions
• Wealth management services including Finance Director duties.

To be considered for this role it is essential that you can show that you are:-

· ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 5 years PQE
· Manager Level with aspirations to own your own practice
· Full and current accountancy practice background
· Proficient with software including cloud based Xero and Iris
· Proactive in your approach with the ability to multitask
· Client facing with strong business development skills
· Comfortable delegating and managing a team of staff
· Logical and methodical, and up to date with current market
· Up to date with changes in regulations within the industry
· Practicing certificate not essential although it is desirable that you obtain one if serious about this role.
