I am currently working with a great company who are looking for someone to join the team on a Fixed Term maternity cover contract for 9months. Based near Heathrow, initially this will be remote working but will be returning to the office in the future where there is parking onsite. 40 hour working week 9:00 - 17:30 Monday- Friday.

This role is for a Senior Management Accountant who is qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA and m,ust be immediately available due to timing.

Main responsibilities:

  • Prepare the month-end performance pack with value-added insight and commentary and variance analysis for review and sign-off by FC
  • Deliver the annual bottom-up budget engaging with internal stakeholders as appropriate for sign-off by FD
  • Produce forecasts according to business cycle or on an ad-hoc basis for sign off by FD
  • Conduct analysis for use in and attend the monthly customer contract meetings
  • Prepare for and attend the monthly finance meeting with the customer
  • Liaise with customer to ensure timely payment of invoices
  • Prepare quarterly VAT submission for review and sign-off by FC
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts with review and commentary on a monthly basis for sign off by FC
  • Submit weekly cash forecasts for inclusion in group consolidation
  • Ensure payroll is reviewed, approved and submitted accurately and on time.
  • Review the weekly payment run (ensuring that the supplier payment policy and delegation of authority are adhered to) for approval by FC & FD
  • Produce annual audit pack and liaise with auditor as required
  • Completion of pro-forma financial statements
  • Submit monthly ONS and other government surveys
  • Complete annual tax return for sign off
  • Collaborate with International finance team and other functions as appropriate
  • Directly manage and mentor one Management Accountant and one payroll executive

  • MS Navision experience an advantage
