My client, based in the Great Yarmouth area, is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join their business and support through coordination, support and creation of processes that contribute to a capable workforce that is committed to executing on meaningful business outcomes.

The Job:
- Communicate with staff and review benefits and compensation
- Be a key facilitator to initiate long term talent management strategies, including long term work force planning, development plans and succession to prepare existing staff, as well as recruit key skill sets and required attitudes that fit into the culture
- Oversee and coach on best practices for employee performance appraisal and ensures completion, and record keeping
- Record keeping and report producing
- Understands both short and long term business goals and how it effects HR initiatives
- Prioritization of day to day activities
- Consults managers regarding employee turnover, disciplinary action, absenteeism, changes in work settings, employee motivation and recognition, and other employee-related aspects
- Lead process on employee grievances, exit interviews, and investigations and advise on required outcomes
- Champion of change informed by Investment in People reports
- As a team player that works in a collaborative and often lean environment this role is happy to do what it needs to get the jobs done outside of their domain and take on other duties as required
- Support a strong employee recruiting process, as well as employee orientation
- Manage relationship with Benefit consultants as well as other related 3rd party groups
- Encourage and administrates engagement initiatives
- Advise, review and recommend revisions on policy and rule interpretations, staffing and related personnel problems; counsel applicants and employees on human resource policies, rules and procedures
- Facilitate Human Resources goals


Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Degree or certification in a HR discipline
- Experience working with HR information systems (HRIS)
- Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail required
