An extremely well established London-based charity is currently seeking a Senior Grants Officer/Grants Manager to join their team.
The purpose of this role will be to assist with managing and assisting their grant applications from beginning to end, to help streamline processes and to ensure that they continue to build and grow.
This role requires someone who is empathetic, naturally caring and has a passion for helping people. Ideally you will come from a charity/not for profit background with grants experience, preferably in grants awarded to individuals or families.
Strong Excel and Word skills are a must, you will also require full knowledge and understanding of the UK benefits system.
Typical duties will include:
- Facilitate, plan and monitor grant processes efficiently and effectively, to contribute to the organisation’s strategic goals
- Implement financial policies and controls to ensure effective and efficient deployment of financial resources for grants
- Run and present weekly/monthly reports and statistics as required, providing grant statistics and financial information to the team on a regular basis
- Responsible for signing off on grants
