A returning client of ours from the logistics industry is looking for an experienced Senior AP Officer for 6 months temporary. This role will be office based and part of the finance department and will cover the following duties:
• Investigate invoices not processed, clear backlogs
• Prepare statement reconciliations
• Liaise with suppliers and operations departments
• Prepare BACS payments – twice monthly
• Prepare same day payments as requested
• Send out remittance advices
• Allocation of payments to ledger
• Review and resolve debit balances
• Vendor set up
• Intercompany invoices
• Maintains accurate records, system and manual
• Other related tasks, as required
Key Skills:
At least 3-5 years experience within AP within the logistics/freight industry
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
Strong organisational skills as well as planning
Team player
This role is looking to commence 8th March 2021 and will be office based.
