A UNICEFs Right Respecting school located to the West of Oxford require a SENCO for an immediate start. This role is initially offered on a temporary basis although this could quickly transition into a permanent role.
A Rights Respecting School Award is an initiative run by UNICEF, UK. The initiative encourages schools to embed the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child within their ethos and curriculum. This school is currently working towards a Silver Rights Aware Award!

Here are some of the duties as Special Needs Coordinator you will be undertaking
- Supporting the identification of children with special educational needs.
- Co-ordinating provision for children with SEN.
- Liaising with parents of children with SEN.
- Liaising with other providers, outside agencies, educational psychologists, and external agencies particularly for children receiving support. Ensuring that the school keeps the records of all pupils with SEN up to date.
