This position demands commitment, resilience and innovation as no two days are the same. We are a small specialist independent school offering an alternative education to young people aged 11-19 who have been or are at risk of permanent exclusion, within small class groups.
We are looking for individuals to work in our provisions in Teynham, Maidstone & Ashford as well as to deliver 1:1 education in various places across Kent and Medway on occasion. All candidates must be flexible and adaptable and willing to go above and beyond to assist our young people fulfil their potential.
To be considered for this role you will need to:
Experience within an SEN or SEMH setting is desirable but not essential
A Level 5 teaching qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential as ongoing CPD will be provided.
Be engaging and easily approachable
Be committed to Safeguarding and Child Protection
Be computer and IT literate
Have access to your own vehicle and be willing to travel throughout Kent & Medway
