Reed Education Cardiff are currently working with a great SEN school in Ely on a new opportunity for an enthusiastic SEN TA, for a long term position starting just after the October half term.

This SEN school caters for children between the ages of 3 and 19 years who have profound and multiple learning difficulties. Many pupils are also on the autistic spectrum and present severe challenging behaviour. The school received an excellent Estyn report due to the hard work and ‘can do’ attitude of their teaching staff.
This role involves ensuring the educational progression and personal development of SEN students particularly those with autism. This will also involve assisting the teacher with planning, preparing and delivering lessons.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience in working with children with SEN, particularly autism
• Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a hard work ethic
• A DBS that entitles you to work with children and adults (Reed are happy to provide this if you don’t have one)
• Relevant TA qualification and also ideally Team Teach trained
• And have a passion to develop and support SEN students through their education.
