Reed Education Bristol are currently working with a great SEN school on an exciting new SEN Learning Support Assistant role in Bath. To start ASAP, the school are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistants to join them on a full time, long term basis (term time only).

This beautiful school, based in a Bath are looking for SEN Learning Support Assistants who are happy and confident working with pupils who have a statement of educational needs.

The school:

• A specialist school, who cater for pupils aged 8 - 19 who have a wide range of Special Educational Needs.
• The team of staff and therapists offer a wide level of expertise, which is enhanced by the range of excellent resources and facilities available.
• They offer whole-class teaching as well as 1:1 bespoke education and learning packages for individuals, to meet their specific needs.
• All pupils are encouraged and supported to achieve their full potential and develop skills to equip them for independent adult life.

What you will need:
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Experience of working with children/young people with learning difficulties and managing challenging behaviour.
• You should be committed to enabling the pupils to overcome their challenges and achieve their potential.
• You will help the teacher to identify individual needs and provide effective support in a safe, stimulating and supportive environment.
• Good communication skills, patience and a sense of humour.
