SEN ENGLISH AND DRAMA TEACHER - NEEDED FOR SEPTEMBER START - Reed Education

Reed Education Bristol are currently working with a great school on a brilliant new SEN English and Drama teaching role the Highbridge area.

Starting in September, the school are looking for an outstanding SEN English and Drama teacher to join them for a fixed-term contract for the Autumn month.

The School:
• The school offers a bespoke approach to the pupil's education, they accomodate for children from the ages of 10 up to Sixth Form - specifically for children with Special Educational Needs.
• They cover, GCSE's, A-Levels, BTECs as well as College-based learning.
• Life skills are also covered, to ensure when young people leave the facility, they are fully-equipped and well-prepared for adulthood.

The Role:
• As an SEN English and Drama teacher, the role will require marking and planning as well as being the main teacher for the class and monitoring their progress.
• As an SEN English and Drama teacher for this school, you will be there to impact on the children's learning, help them achieve their goals and increase skills as well as helping them on their journey to adulthoood.
• The role will give you insight into working in a Special Education Needs School

What you will need:
• Able to commute to or work local to Highbridge so you can access the school in times required
• High motivation as well as commitment so work with children with SEN
• Ideally you will have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
• You will need to be calm, caring and nurturing - able to diffuse tense situations
• You will need to be reliable and consistent as the children require continuity and stability
